What is EDL
EDL (or every day life)
Is the High School program at Calvary Church Santa Ana. We have a purpose statement that says “Calvary Church High School Ministry is a FAMILY, where we CONNECT with God and others, to GROW in our faith so we can REACH people in our EVERYDAYLIFE” Through this purpose we are changing ourselves and the world around us. Come check us out!
So what do you actually do on Sunday?
On Sunday mornings our high school group meets together in the gym to Connect with each other and to Grow in our relationships with God. We do this by singing worship songs, listening to a message from God’s Word, and breaking up into “LifeGroups” to talk about the message and what is going on in our lives. Each student is assigned to a “LifeGroup” and is given the opportunity to make friends and get real with each other.
So what do you actually do on a Wednesday?
On Wednesday nights we meet in Samsvick Chapel to hang out with each other, grow in our faith and have a ridiculous amount of fun. Each week we spend time worshiping God through music and being challenged to grow in our relationships with him through an interactive message. This is a great night to invite friends and help get people connected to EDL. The first Wednesday of every month is dedicated to creating a super easy environment to invite friends (broomball, dodgeball, etc). You don’t want to miss Wednesday nights.
